Pan Afrikan Festival
Our Pan Afrikan Festival (formerly Afrikan American Festival) is one of the major events that is held annually here in Rochester, NY. The purpose is to celebrate the heritage and culture of all people from the Afrikan Diaspora through music, dance, art, spoken word, and educational literature. The Pan Afrikan Festival also serves as a platform for local artists to display their talents. In addition, the festival builds unity, pride, and self-esteem to improve the quality of life in our community.
