Then\, create your own newspaper inspired by his publications! \nCornelius Eady’s Poetry Corner (Pat Hale Gallery): Try your hand at writing poetry inspired by local poet Cornelius Eady.  \n“A More Perfect Likeness” (2nd Floor Windows)- Build your own pinhole camera like the kind that photographed Frederick Douglass in the 19th century.  \nRed\, Black\, and Green (Lobby): Discover the symbolism behind the Pan-African flag and create your own bookmark using its distinct colors. \nDr. Juanita Pitts’ Mobile Health Unit  (Pat Hale Gallery): Investigate your pulse and learn about the incredibly powerful muscle that is your heart.   \nTake off with Dorothy Layne McIntyre (3rd floor\, outside astronaut): Create a propeller to learn about the forces of lift and thrust.  \nHarriet Tubman Naturalist School (Expedition Earth): Test out your knowledge of medicinal plants and their uses to gain an understanding of how Harriet Tubman functioned as a naturalist in the Underground Railroad. \nScavenger Hunt: Learn more about local black trailblazers by exploring the Museum & Science Center.
