You may have noticed you’ve been getting traffic from Black Owned in Rochester so you’ve come to check us out. You see we’re a directory and you want to know how to claim and update your listing. Don’t worry. You’re in the right place.
Let’s get started.
First, you will need to navigate to your listing.
- From the homepage search for your listing using business name.
Once you find it, click the link and it will open in a new page
On this page, you will click the claim listing button.
It will prompt you to login. However, if you do not already have an account on our website, you will need to register.
Hit the register button then add your email address & create a secure password
Hit “Register” the page will refresh and then you will need to click the claim listing button again
and this time it’ll pop open a form for you to give some details about what ownership you have over the business.
Once you do this, I will receive an email that will tell me that you’ve submitted a claim and I will review your email and approve it. Once I approve the claim, you’ll now have access to your listing.
You’ll be able to edit all the details
You’ll also be able to boost your listing by either purchasing a featured listing upgrade or upgrading your listing to a premium listing, which will grant you a year of boosted status & so much more.
